Hino Motors Manufacturing is looking for Production Supervisors to join our team in Mineral Wells, West Virginia!

Our team is growing and we are seeking Production Supervisors in all departments that will train on day-shift and likely be moved to an overnight shift in late 2020.
Our Production Supervisors can be assigned to any manufacturing department including Logistics, Assembly, or Quality Control.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing various operations to support the manufacture of medium duty trucks. This is achieved through directing large groups of employees (30+) in the safety and quality performance of their jobs. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least five years of experience supervising or leading staff in that environment.

The ideal candidate for this position will have knowledge of lean manufacturing and extensive knowledge of problem solving methodologies and experience with root cause analysis.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond appropriately to work pressures, who is a mature and tactful communicator in both written and verbal contexts and has demonstrated leadership with large groups.

This position requires strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.

Educational experience required is an Associate’s Degree in a managerial or technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
