In your role, you will:
Responsible for the research and administration of program work packages. Monitors work in progress to identify possible schedule impact and plan accordingly for upcoming maintenance events.

Requirements

EVEL (Entry)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


· 2 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance environment
· Computer skills necessary to learn and/or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, project, e-mail, and web-based applications
· Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees, customers, management and contractor
· Analytical skills necessary to research, review and accommodate scheduling requirements
· Planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting with rapidly changing priorities
· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
· Ability to analyze risk and make sound business decisions

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


· Bachelor’s degree in related field
· A&P Certificate or FCC License
· Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, proposal writing, and/or invoice analysis
· Previous experience with SAP and/or Pivotal
· Basic knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, for example, part 91, 121, 135, and 145
· Basic knowledge of process for producing Airworthiness Directives

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


1. Adhere to General Work Requirements
2. Research and administer special programs, may include programs such as warranty, Smart Parts, open delivery items
3. Review financial summary for Proposal including pre-sale margin analysis
4. Coordinate and establish downtime for maintenance events
5. Work with customers for clarification of requirements to ensure customer expectations are met
6. Assist in performing acceptability analysis based on current scheduling requirements and availability of resources
7. Assist in creating project flow charts and other management tools in support of aircraft visit
8. Determine resource availability, such as tools, facility capacity, components, or labor hours, coordinating with resource providers on issues which could potentially impact the Master Schedule
9. Assemble aircraft work packages in a logical efficient manner including identification of material, tooling, and manpower requirements prior to scheduled induction
10. Attend customer debrief (or pre-induct) prior to aircraft arrival as required
11. Input data into systems as required
12. Maintain and assist in development of aircraft model specific technical information, for example airframe, engine, avionics, and paint / interior

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


1. Develop, maintain, and distribute schedule
2. Create project flow charts and other management tools in support of aircraft visit
3. Develop labor-hour estimates for contract proposals during planning phase (Commercial A/C only)
4. Process complex work packages involving, for example, multiple payers, multiple warranty programs, complex vendor warranty programs (Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell)
5. Coordinate scripting activities for specific aircraft model
6. Responsible for development and maintenance of processes by task identification, sequencing, and applying standards (i.e. tools, components, and labor hours)

· 7 years scheduling experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
· Ability to lead and manage a planning project through to successful completion
· Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs
· Thorough knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, for example, part 91, 121, 135, and 145
· Thorough knowledge of process for producing Airworthiness Directives
· Thorough knowledge of Service Bulletins and other technical documents, for example, General Repair Engineering Orders (GREO) and maintenance manuals
· Thorough knowledge of customer maintenance programs, procedures, and instructions
