Primary Role: The Mold Manager will create the schedule of molds to be reconditioned after maximum production run of the mold. The manager schedules the completion of new molds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct and train mold technicians assigned to the Mold Department.
  • Develop tracking of molds and production use for maintaining molds in optimum condition.

  • Instruct and assist technicians in the completion of new molds.

  • Monitor the Outfitting Department for condition of pools scheduled for delivery.

  • Monitor supplies and materials needed and send requests to purchasing.

  • Report to Plant Manager any flaws or exceptions to molds requiring additional work.

  • Reporting of Mold Master spread sheets and attending scheduled conference calls.

  • Timekeeping of Mold Shop employees on ADP.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Composites Manufacturing preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Four to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Composite certificates or licenses preferred but not necessary if experienced in composite/fiberglass manufacturing.
  • Composite certificates or licenses preferred but not necessary if experienced in composite/fiberglass manufacturing.
  • Two years of composite/fiberglass mold maintenance.

Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat, (depending on weather conditions) and noise is typical.
