Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for customer & vendor communications, monitoring & negotiations
- Responsible for various engineering aspects of a project
- Proactively communicate project engineering status, issues and risks to management
- Assess project engineering issues, identify solutions, and control all project engineering aspects in order to meet productivity, quality and customer expectations and project engineering commitments.
- Identify and improve project engineering processes Layout & design of mechanical drawings
- Assisting Sales Department in project engineering estimates, bid proposals & mechanical specifications.
- Design & evaluate various hydraulic systems for accuracy & improvements Design of mechanical pieces of equipment relative to a loadout, Data Collection System and other pieces of equipment as determined.
- Perform full lifecycle product development
- Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliabilty & safety
- Design & modify mechanical and thermal devices using analysis and computer-aided software
- Analyze the test results and change the design as needed
- Utilize AutoCAD (2D) & Inventor (3D model) as the primary software design tools
- Convert existing 2D drawings into a 3D model of mechanical equipment
- Prepare product reports and documentation
- Overnight travel - domestic and international, occasional extended stays

- Requirements
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
- 5 years-experience as a design engineer
- AS/BS degree or an accredited certification as a mechanical engineer
- Clean driving record
- Pass drug test
- Submit to a background check
Preferred Skills:
- Highly organized
- Proficient use of AutoCAD
- Proficient use of Inventor
- MSOffice products
- Excellent verbal & written communications
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
