Assist in the repair and/or modification of composite requirements to conform to applicable engineering drawings, Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on customer aircraft. Completion of work is in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA/JAA regulations.

  • Document work performed per appropriate manuals including, but not limited to, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Structure Repair Manual (SRM)
  • Inspect parts as required including inspection for warranty consideration
  • Assist in performing minor structural repairs on composite components detached or attached to aircraft including, but not limited to flight controls, doors, tip tanks, engine inlet and cowlings, stabilizers, radomes, aft stingers, and horizontal to vertical stabilizer close-out fairings at on-site or off-site locations
  • Fabricate and repair all composite parts
  • Perform composite-related repair tasks in accordance with approved data consisting of , but not limited to the restoration of aramid, fiberglass, and carbon and aluminum mesh fabrics
  • Complete assigned tasks within allocated man-hours on schedule
  • Perform vacuum bagging
  • Prepare all requirements for repairs according to approved data
  • Operate a broad variety of hand/power tools in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comply with all environmental health and safety policies and procedures included but not limited to Safety Manual Section 1225
